How did you come to own your possession?
I have a shoe company called Shoes of Prey where women can design their very own shoes. we worked on a capsule collection with Australian fashion designer Carla Zampatti for her SS 2016 collection. The brief was eighties prom, and I absolutely adore the drama of this shoe. This is one of the first we produced, and I am so proud of it.

How do you live with your heirloom?
I love wearing these beautiful heels. However, they are also known to adorn shelves at home as a decoration.

Who in your life has most influenced your personal style and taste?
The first real fashion influence in my life was my cousin, Vanessa. She was a couple years older than me and was the big sister I never had while growing up. After that, it was Alison Veness, at that time the editor of Australia's Harper's Bazaar. It was my first real step into understanding fashion.
