A pendant necklace can take many forms and can be created in many different ways. They can be worn short or long, alone as bold or subtle statement pieces, or layered with other treasured jewelry styles you own.

On the most fundamental level, some of our favorite pendants and the chains they can be paired with are found objects, pieces that might be long forgotten in the jewelry boxes of you or your family. Those pieces can be a diamond pendant in any size or shape or even a diamond ring or band that, when looped onto a favorite chain, is instantly transformed into a diamond pendant necklace. In that same vein, any gold piece that belonged to a parent, grandparent or other close - but distant relative - can serve as a gold pendant waiting to become an every day piece of jewelry you never want to take off.

Some of our favorite pendants of course are the lockets and charms that are the foundation of our jewelry collections. We create those collections in sterling silver and 18k gold, and offer a wide variety of chains and chain lengths so that you can create the pendant necklace that is just right for you. For a more modern and contemporary twist, we offer chains in black steel. They are the modern day version of a black silk cord and can be the perfect companion to any of our pendants whether they are gold or silver. The black steel chains are available in different lengths, both short and long, with our Charlie chain being a customer favorite.
