As far back as the 1700’s and 1800’s, portrait miniatures painted by artists were inserted into precious lockets. In that respect, these were the very first picture locket necklaces and they were popular in a number of European countries. The picture lockets we offer come in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and stone combinations. The stones in our photo lockets range from the most precious diamonds, sapphires and emeralds to semi-precious stones like blue topaz, rock crystal and mother of pearl. Additionally, we offer these picture locket necklaces with a myriad of chain options. The chain lengths range from 17” – 32” and most chains are adjustable in length to allow for maximum versatility when layered with the other pieces in your jewelry box. By nature, any locket can become a custom photo locket once you have personalized it with your own photos.
